General

  1. Is there Internet available on the park?
    Yes, on the whole park a WiFi connection of KPN Hotspots is available. Per accommodation service one WiFi code for one device is included. More information about the Internet on Holiday Park De Kuilart.
  2. Are pets allowed?
    Per accommodation, camping pitch or harbour berth one dog is allowed (with charge). Further information can be read in our dog policy.
  3. Is it allowed to barbecue on the park?
    Barbecue is allowed, but open fires are forbidden.
  4. Can I reach Holiday Park De Kuilart with public transport?
    Yes, in 1 kilometre distance is a bus stop De Galamadammen or you can come by train and get of at the train station Koudum-Molkwerum, 5 kilometres of De Kuilart.
  5. I have booking, when do I need to pay my stay?
    After reservation of your stay at De Kuilart you will receive a confirmation. In this confirmation you can find the total price of the reservation and the exact payment terms. You can easily pay the term via IDEAL via My Kuilart.
  6. How does My Kuilart work?
    You can log in with your own email address, registered with us, and your own chosen password onto My Kuilart. Via My Kuilart you can change your data (such as your license plate), look into your reservation details en pay vacant posts via IDEAL.
  7. I am not staying on De Kuilart, can I still make use of the swimming pool?
    Yes, of course, for an entrance fee you can make use of our swimming pool. The entrance fee can be paid at the reception, might the reception be closed then it can also be paid in the restaurant.
  8. Can I make use of the facilities of De Kuilart when I am not yet checked in or already checked out?
    Yes, that is not a problem at all, you do need entrance tickets for the swimming pool.

Accommodations

  1. What are the changeover days?
    You can arrive on Monday as well as Friday. You can book per week, weekend or midweek. In the main holiday period it is only possible to book from Friday to Friday. Check for deviant periods around the holidays in our accommodation-arrangements.
  2. What are the arrival and departure times?
    -Check-in: you can check-in from 16.00 o'clock on at the reception, the reception is opened until 18.00 o'clock. Will you arrive later than 18.00 o'clock, please contact our reception.
    -Check-out: you need to check out before 10.00 o'clock. You can also check-out the evening before, if you do we kindly ask you to throw your accommodation key in the key compartment (at the front door of the reception).
  3. Do we need to pay a deposit for the rental of the accommodation?
    You do not need to pay a deposit; you do need to fill in a authorization form for a value of € 100,-. This authorization will only be used in case of damage or extra cleaning.
  4. can I check which accommodations are still available?
    Yes, via our online booking system you can open a plan, in step 1, in which you can give your preferation for a specific number. Alle available accommodations are given here.

Camping

  1. What are the arrival and departure days?
    In the high season arrival and departure days are on Friday and Saturday. Outside these weeks you can also arrive on a different day.
  2. What are the arrival and departure times?
    You can make use of your pitch from 13.00 o'clock on. You need to leave your pitch before 12.00 o'clock.
  3. Can I also check out at a later time?
    You can inform yourself about this at the reception during your stay. The extra charge for staying until 15.00 o'clock is € 5.00 and for 18.00 o'clock is € 10.00.
  4. Can I check which pitches are still available?
    Yes, via our online booking system you can open a plan, in step 1, in which you can give your preferation for a specific number. Alle available pitches are given here.
  5. Can you park your car on the camping pitch?
    Our camping pitches are car free, cars can be parked on the given parking area's.
  6. How many small tents can be added on the camping pitch?
    You can add a maximum of two small tents, as long as it fits on the pitch. For the tents are no extra costs, but you do pay for the extra persons € 6.75 per person per night, this is inclusive tourist tax.
  7. Is a party tent allowed?
    Only a grey party tent dome tents are allowed, for example the Coleman or the Bo-Garden.
  8. Is a cable tv connection available?
    All comfort and supercomfort pitches have digital tv connection, no analog. Check for more information and practical tips about digital tv at De Kuilart.
  9. How does the showering system work?
    Our showers function with a SEP-card system, these can be bought with € 5.00 credit at the harbour payment machine (at the swimming pool) or at the reception. Charging the cards can be done with cash money in the sanitary buidling 2, 3 and 4 or with a payment card at the harbour payment machine or reception. Remaining credit can be obtained when handing in the card at the reception. 
  10. Is it possible to welcome day guests?
    Visitors are of course welcome and can register themselves at the reception. We do not charge any extra costs for day visitors, only € 4.00 for parking the car.
  11. Do over-night guests also get a swimming pool entrance ticket?
    For sure, over-night guests also get a swimming pool ticket. You do need to register your over-night guests at the reception. Costs are € 5.50 per person per night and € 1.25 tourist tax per person per night.
  12. Is the youth also welcome on the campsite?
    Children until the age of 18 years are only allowed on the campsite with under supervision of parents and/or caregivers.
  13. Can I leave my tent or caravan uninhabited on the campsite?
    If the reserved camping pitch is free or stays free, this is possible. For a uninhabited night (without electra) the costs are € 10.00 per night in low season.

Harbour

  1. Is there electric and water available on the piers?
    On most of the piers there is an electric and water connection. On the new piers you can pay with your SEP-card and on the older piers you can pay with € 0.50 coins.
  2. How does the showering system work?
    Our showers work with a SEP-card system, these can be bought with € 5.00 credit at the harbour payment machine (at the swimming pool) or at the reception. Charging the cards can be done with cash money in the sanitary buidling 2, 3 and 4 or with a payment card at the harbour payment machine or reception. Remaining credit can be obtained when handing in the card at the reception. The system of the SEP-card can be used in multiple harbours in The Netherlands, for locations you can check  www.jachthavenbetaalkaart.nl.
  3. Can you also make use of the swimming pool during your stay as a passer-by in the harbour?
    For sure, as a passer-by you can buy an day card at the reception, with this card you can enter the pool several times a day.
  4. Is there a possibility set up a small side tent for the kids?
    We have a specific trekkers field at the entrance of the harbour where you can set up one more small side tents. You do need to register the tent(s) at the reception or the harbour master so you will receive a sticker to attach to the tent(s).

Boatrental

  1. Do I need to have a boat master's certificate for renting a boat?
    No, you do not need a boat master's certificate for any of our rental boats.
  2. From which age on can you rent a boat?
    You can rent a boat at De Kuilart when you are 18 years or older.
  3. Do we need to pay a deposit when we rent a boat?
    You do not need to pay a deposit; you will on the other hand fill in a rental contract by which you agree to € 250,- coinsurance. This will only be used when damage or loss occures.
  4. Can we take the rental boat to the IJsselmeer?
    It is not allowed to take the rental boats of De Kuilart onto the IJsselmeer.
